The Alfa 147, available with 3 or 5 doors, forcefully expresses all the creative vitality of the brand, a special way of appreciating motor cars that is very far from thinking of them as simply useful means of transport. The design is a triumph of symmetry and proportion, with subtle retro hints that evoke the past in a fresh, contemporary and timeless way. The Alfa 147 offers a further interpretation of many of the stylistic features typical of Alfa Romeo cars both recent and classic. The V-shaped bonnet for instance, tails off beneath the front light clusters, evoking memories of the gorgeous 6C2500 Villa d’Este coupe of 1949 and resulting in a sleeker, more aggressive appearance for the car. A prominent shield is the focal point of two converging bonnet contours whilst below, a spoiler section endows the car with a powerful street presence.
